I use Brave on mobile all the time as they solve a lot of these problems, but on desktop, it's still not ideal as a browser for web dev even though it's an Electron based browser (they forked Electron to make it more secure). My main browser is still Chrome on desktop. I have extensions like uBlock and HTTPS Everywhere. I'll have brave running as well for work or personal email, but it's kind of hard to escape the richness of Chrome or FireFox for web dev.

It seems fitting that you wrote this today. I had a Chrome extension error this morning and when I looked into it, this is what I saw.
