Hey DEV community π
We're NoonLaunch, and this is our first post here. Before we start sharing guides, we want to introduce ourselves properly: who we are, what we're building, and why.
The problem we kept seeing
If you've ever shipped a side project or a SaaS, you probably know this pattern:
- You spend weeks (or months) building.
- You launch. Traffic spikes for a day or two.
- Then it goes quiet, and you're back to wondering how anyone will find your product.
Launch day is a spike, not a strategy. Most launch platforms are built around 24 hours of attention, and once that window closes, your product page gets buried.
At the same time, how people discover software is changing. Buyers still Google things, but more and more of them open ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Claude and ask:
"What's the best tool for X?"
If your product isn't mentioned in the places those AI engines learn from, it doesn't make the shortlist. It doesn't matter how good your code is.
What we built
NoonLaunch is a weekly product launch platform that helps AI tools, SaaS and software products get discovered on Google and cited by AI engines like ChatGPT.
A few decisions we made on purpose:
- Weekly, not daily. A daily leaderboard gives you a few hours of visibility before the next batch pushes you down. A weekly cycle gives every product a real window to be seen.
- Permanent product pages. Your page doesn't disappear after launch week. It stays live, indexable and findable, long after the launch.
- Built for search and AI engines. Pages are structured so Google can rank them and AI engines can understand and cite them.
- A Top 3 weekly badge for the best-performing launches, so there's still a bit of friendly competition.
- A directory and launch archive, so buyers browsing a category can find you months later.
Free tools, no signup wall
While building NoonLaunch, we kept making small tools for our own launches, so we put them online for free:
- Startup Name Availability Checker
- A list of 300+ startup launch directories
- Product Hunt Launch Planner and Launch Checklist
- Startup Tagline and Product Description Generators
- OG Image Generator and Favicon Generator
You can find them all at noonlaunch.com/tools. Use them whether or not you ever launch with us.
What we'll post here
We want this account to be useful, not a stream of ads. Expect posts like:
- Launch playbooks for indie hackers and small SaaS teams
- Honest comparisons of Product Hunt and other launch platforms
- How AI engines pick which products to cite, and what you can do about it
- SEO basics for new products that developers can actually implement
If you're building something, we'd love to see it.
Over to you π
We're curious: how did your last launch go? Did the traffic stick around, or did it fade after a day or two? And have you noticed users finding your product through ChatGPT or Perplexity yet?
Drop your experience in the comments. We read every one, and the best answers will shape what we write next.
Thanks for having us, DEV. π

Search-era positioning is interesting, but durable launch content still needs primary artifacts: clear pricing, demoable product claims, and pages that answer a buyer's actual questions. AI discovery can amplify good evidence; it cannot compensate for missing substance.
