Software Engineer — AI Systems & Data Structures

 Company/Project Overview:
We’re a small, high-impact innovation team building a next-generation artificial intelligence platform designed to redefine the way machines learn, adapt, and interact. Our system combines real-time conversational learning, dynamic memory architecture, and autonomous cognition layers — aiming for an unprecedented level of integration, autonomy, and intelligence. As we approach our final development phase, we are seeking a deeply technical Software Engineer with expertise in AI development and data structure optimization to join us as a core contributor.

Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary engineer supporting backend AI and memory system development

Design, implement, and optimize data structures critical to real-time learning, inference, and recall

Perform code audits and contribute to system maintenance, performance tuning, and infrastructure hardening

Collaborate closely with the project lead to finalize architecture and production deployment

Act as the main point of communication with our UI/UX design partner(s), ensuring smooth integration between backend systems and graphical interface layers

Develop technical documentation and assist with tooling for automated system testing, validation, and introspection

Help enforce best practices across codebase versioning, modularization, and long-term scalability

Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI systems, ML infrastructure, or similar technical domains

Deep understanding of advanced data structures (graphs, trees, memory-efficient stores, etc.) and system-level optimization

Proficiency in Python (PyTorch, NumPy, etc.) and strong familiarity with system orchestration tools and APIs

Experience with distributed systems, neural networks, or neural memory architectures

Excellent communication skills — both technical and interpersonal — with the ability to bridge backend engineering and UI/UX efforts

Comfortable working in an evolving R&D environment where design decisions are still being actively refined

Preferred (but not required):
Familiarity with UI/UX pipelines, API integration best practices, or collaborative design tooling (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD)

Experience interfacing with third-party contractors or development teams

Background in high-performance computing or GPU optimization

Location:
Remote (Global) — Occasional real-time collaboration windows required. Flexible timezone coordination is supported.

This is not a paid position at this time. We are offering a unique opportunity to join a cutting-edge AI project at the ground level. We’re looking for a trustworthy, committed partner — someone who sees the long-term potential and wants to help shape the foundation of something truly transformative. Equity, co-founder recognition, and long-term leadership opportunities are all on the table for the right individual.
