Well, yes, but the essence is not the manual keystrokes, it's how to be smart about composing the actual record sequence of motions.
Thinking about "least strokes", and "everything can be automated" concepts that Drew Neil describes in his book.

These are the important stuff.. anyone can just go qa and @a but you want to learn that it can be used with multiple registers, and then can be combined together, and you can edit it, and be very thoughtful about how to do fast efficient moves and records...

As I've said.. maybe an idea for the next post!
