Get a daily list of new EU and Spanish public tenders and grants, without writing a scraper

Disclosure: OpenData Forge built the tools linked below. They have free tiers or pay-per-result pricing.

Public procurement and grant data in Europe is open, but awkward to use. TED has its own query language, the EU Funding & Tenders Portal search API is barely documented, and Spain's BOE publishes daily XML summaries. If you just want "new IT tenders in Spain this week" or "AI grant calls that close after December", you end up writing three scrapers.

This guide does it with no code, in three ways.

1. Spanish (or any EU) tenders from TED

Open the EU Public Tenders (TED) Search Actor and run it with:

{ "keywords": "software", "countries": ["ESP"], "maxResults": 50 }
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

You get one row per notice, with a direct TED link. Narrow it with a CPV code (72000000 = IT services) or publishedAfter.

2. Open EU grant calls, sorted by deadline

EU Funding & Grants Calls Search:

{ "keywords": "artificial intelligence", "statuses": ["open", "forthcoming"] }
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

3. Today's subsidies in Spain's BOE

Spain BOE & BORME Daily Bulletin Search:

{ "bulletins": ["BOE"], "keywords": ["subvenciones"] }
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

Make it a daily alert

In Apify: Schedules → daily 08:00 → add the three tasks, then use an integration (email, Slack or Google Sheets) on each run. Check current Apify free-plan limits before relying on it.

The same sources are available as an open-source MCP server for Claude, Cursor and other clients: eu-spain-public-data-mcp. Browse example data on the OpenData Forge site.

Limits, honestly

BOE search covers the daily summaries, not full text. Results are capped per run. Everything depends on the official sources being up. Not affiliated with the EU Publications Office, the European Commission or the BOE.
