My gf and I are living together since july last year, and have been splitting expenses equally. So we keep a google sheets document where we enter everything each one of us pays for, and if one is lagging behind, that person has to pay for the next few things to catch up.
But I don't like manually writing the entries, and sometimes I put it off so long that I forget some expenses :'v Same thing happens to her, although not as often.
So I created NiceHaus (Haus because she teaches German) to be able to enter expenses through voice prompts, and also shopping list items, and to-do list items. You say, "I bought eggs for 3 dollars, Lucía bought some sheets for 20, and we have to paint the kitchen wall", the app records you, Anthropic's Haiku 4.5 parses the transcription into manageable json, it gets saved, and the frontend organizes and shows it.
So yeah, I'd appreciate your comments and suggestions :)
