People keep asking whether CapCut face-swap or a one-click generator is better for the Outstanding Tiny Desk meme.
CapCut / Seedance DIY
Good if you want full control: reference clip, face refs, prompts, ffmpeg for audio. Slow and easy to break lip-sync if you mention the mouth in prompts.
One-click path
If you just want the ~15s vertical clip: upload a clear front-facing photo at https://outstanding-tiny-desk.com/ (optional bandmates), generate, download, label AI when posting.
Photo tips
Sharp face, even light, no sunglasses, permission only.
Disclosure
I help run Outstanding Tiny Desk. Fan parody — not NPR / Charlie Wilson / Gap Band.
