To communicate clearly speak crispy. Breathe until your fight/flight emotions fade away. Breathe until you have something useful to say. And when you speak (1) remove the upswing at the end (2) lower the tone of your voice and (3) remove self-analysis (there's just not time to worry about how you sound)/hesitancy when speaking.
