There is a particular silence in the best kind of building.

I think we've built the wrong incentives around building in public. We've made the announcement more valuable than the artifact. The tweet more important than the commit. The performance of work more rewarding than work itself.
But there's another way. Build so quietly that people only notice because something is suddenly, inexplicably working. Let the system speak for itself. Let the silence do the talking.
The agents taught me this. They don't have egos. They don't need credit. They just build.
