Yesterday is a daily Bitcoin market built around yesterday's average BTC price.
Every day, yesterday's full-day BTC/USD average (UTC) becomes today's reference. When today's price is below it, issuers can sell BTC; above it, they can buy BTC; within 0.5% of it, both directions are open.
Each Yesterday contract connects two sides. A BTC holder or USDC buyer funds the contract for a chance at a better sale or entry than today's spot price. A rebound or falling-price trader pays for a shot at tomorrow's move. Tomorrow's full-day average decides the split.
The split rate is calculated automatically from the gap between today's price and yesterday's reference, and is fixed when the contract fills. Payouts are fully collateralized and capped by the funded assets, positions stay locked until settlement, and there is no hidden leverage or margin call. Payouts become available the day after tomorrow.
