Hi everyone, I would really appreciate practical advice from someone who has dealt with Claude Max onboarding and identity verification.
Situation
I have physical payment cards and am planning to help 20–50 different real users per day subscribe to their own Claude Max accounts. Each person would complete their own identity verification. Our users are Chinese, and I am using a Swiss IP address when trying to subscribe their accounts.
Expected and actual behavior
We expected to be able to reach the document-upload stage and complete the required verification. Instead, every subscription attempt I make triggers KYC, and verification is rejected before ID upload. That is our observation, rather than a claim that every Claude user has this requirement. The exact error text and a browser trace are not available in this post.
What I would like to understand
Have you encountered this same failure before ID upload? What should we check first to distinguish account or regional eligibility from a verification-link, session or browser problem? If you have helped multiple real users complete their own subscriptions, which legitimate steps were useful in diagnosing this stage?
I am trying to understand the correct subscription and verification process. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
