I built LaterGator — The Procrastination Autopilot, a tool that turns messy to-do lists into simple, actionable plans. It helps users prioritize tasks, estimate time, and focus on just three important things, saving time and reducing overwhelm. 🦥

How I Built It

I built LaterGator using React and Vite, with a simple interface that turns messy to-do lists into prioritized tasks. The project is designed to use the open-weight Qwen3 model through Ollama for local AI task planning.

Why Does Open Innovation Matter?

Open innovation makes AI more accessible, transparent, and customizable. Using open-weight models like Qwen3 can enable local processing, reduce dependence on closed AI APIs, and give developers more control over their applications.

The Lazy Payoff

LaterGator aims to save time and mental energy by organizing tasks, highlighting the easiest next step, and reducing daily priorities to just three.

Even a small project post benefits from one clear problem statement and a runnable path. A short demo, supported environment, and known limitations make it much easier for other developers to try the idea and offer useful feedback.
