I Built FreeDevUtils β€” 60+ Free In-Browser Developer Tools using github copilot an google gemini pro for developer community

Hey Dev Community πŸ‘‹

I'm excited to finally share FreeDevUtils β€” a big collection of 60+ completely free developer tools that run entirely in your browser.

Why I Built This

I got tired of:

  • Jumping between 10 different websites
  • Dealing with ads and trackers
  • Tools that require signups or send data to servers

So I decided to create one single toolbox for developer community with all the utilities we use in daily life .

✨ Key Highlights

πŸ”₯ Standout Tools

  • Restify β€” Full Postman-like API testing tool (headers, params, body, collections, curl export)
  • UML Class Diagram Builder, Flowchart Designer, Architecture Diagram Builder
  • Log Parser & Analyzer β€” Auto-detect and analyze application logs
  • AI Prompt Builder β€” Craft better prompts for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor etc.
  • Docker Compose Visualizer
  • Subnet Calculator (IPv4 & IPv6)
  • HAR Analyzer, Swagger/OpenAPI Viewer, Postman Collection Viewer

Media & File Tools

  • Image Compression & Resizer (50-80% size reduction)
  • Images to PDF, GIF Animator, Icon Generator
  • QR Code Generator + Scanner, Barcode Generator
  • Voice & Video Recorder
  • Zip/Unzip files client-side
  • Screenshot Annotator

Data & Conversion Tools

  • JSON, YAML, XML, CSV converters & beautifiers
  • CSV ↔ JSON, CSV/Excel β†’ SQL
  • Base64, URL, HTML encode/decode
  • File Comparison tool

Other Useful Tools

  • Code Playground (HTML/CSS/JS with live preview)
  • Regex Tester, Cron Expression Builder

All tools are client-side β€” nothing is uploaded to any server.

Tech Stack

  • Built with vanilla JavaScript + modern web APIs
  • Fully responsive
  • Open source (GitHub link below)

What's Next?

I'm planning to keep adding more tools based on community feedback if they follow projects vision.

Would love to hear from you:

  • Which tool did you find most useful?
  • What tool should I add next?
  • Any bugs or suggestions?
