Auditors notice patterns. If you only close CAPAs without follow-up, they will read your CAPA history as theatre rather than culture. Conversely, a few well-documented, measurable CAPAs go a long way to build trust.

Start with your last ten closed CAPAs. For each, ask: what data would convince an external auditor the action was effective? If you can’t answer that quickly, update the CAPA with a clear verification plan and monitoring period now.
