What I Built
I built AdGenius AI, an AI-powered marketing assistant designed to help small business owners, entrepreneurs, creators, and marketers create promotional content without spending hours writing everything from scratch.
The app brings multiple marketing tools together in one dashboard, helping users create campaign ideas, advertising headlines, ad copy, social media captions, hashtags, WhatsApp promotional messages, video scripts, and scene-by-scene storyboards.
AdGenius AI aims to make marketing content creation simpler and more accessible, especially for people who don't have a dedicated marketing team or a large advertising budget.
The project also explores a side-hustle opportunity: making AI-assisted marketing tools available to small businesses that need affordable ways to promote their products and services.

How I Built It
I built AdGenius AI using Google AI Studio, with a dashboard and dedicated tools for creating and managing marketing content.
The application is designed to support different marketing tasks while preserving options such as language, target audience, marketing goal, and brand tone.
For the AI component, I explored using Google's Gemma open-weight model through Google's supported API. The exact model ID and successful campaign-generation test should be confirmed against the final implementation.
Voiceover functionality is optional, allowing the application to run without requiring an ElevenLabs API key.
Why Does Open Innovation Matter?
Open innovation matters because powerful AI tools should be accessible to more than just large companies with dedicated engineering teams and marketing budgets.
Open-weight models such as Gemma give developers opportunities to experiment, build specialized applications, and adapt AI-powered workflows for real-world problems.
With AdGenius AI, I want to explore how open-weight AI can help small businesses and independent creators produce marketing content more efficiently. Open innovation also encourages developers to learn from, improve, and build upon available AI technologies.
