Great article. My only point would be that $40-50k would be a huge underestimation of cost of the app development. It is likely a team of developers would be needed to develop this app over a period of 6-12 months. It would obviously be cheaper if developed in a country where software developers have lower salaries.
Hey, Josh. I am glad you found the article beneficial. And you are right that $40k-50k is an underestimation of cost but you see it is not the final cost for it. And I think the entire cost of development for any app entirely depends on its requirements for platform, language, architecture and so on, which can only be decided after the discussion with the software development professionals.
Yep totally agreed. There's no way to give an accurate cost without discovery work and understanding the whole scope of the project.
