Managing tools and equipment sounds simple—until you have dozens, hundreds, or thousands of assets spread across different locations and assigned to different people.
I built AsstsManager to solve that problem.
🔧 What is AsstsManager?
AsstsManager is a mobile asset management and inventory tracking app designed to help individuals and small teams keep track of their tools, equipment, and other valuable assets.
Instead of relying on spreadsheets or manually searching through records, you can keep your asset information organized in one place.
You can track information such as:
1 Asset name
2 Serial number
3 Employee/person assigned
4 Location
5 Due date
6 Status
7 Remarks
The goal is simple:
Know what you have, where it is, and who is responsible for it.
🔍 Fast Serial Number Search
One of the main features I wanted to make easy was finding an asset quickly.
If you have a serial number, you shouldn't have to scroll through hundreds of records.
AsstsManager provides instant search so you can quickly find the asset you're looking for.
This can be especially useful for equipment, tools, electronics, instruments, and other serialized items.
📦 Track Asset Status
Assets can have different statuses depending on their current condition or assignment.
AsstsManager supports statuses such as:
1 Available
2 Assigned
3 Repair
4 Disposed
This gives you a quick overview of the current state of your equipment.
📊 Asset Management & Analytics
As the number of assets increases, simply storing records isn't enough.
AsstsManager includes analytics to help provide a better overview of your inventory and asset status.
You can get a clearer picture of how many assets you have and how they are distributed across different statuses.
📅 Due-Date Reminders
Some equipment and assets need to be returned, inspected, maintained, or renewed by a specific date.
AsstsManager can help you keep track of upcoming due dates and identify assets that are approaching their deadlines.
This reduces the chance of important dates being forgotten.
📥 Import Assets from Excel/CSV
If you already have an asset list, manually entering every asset can be frustrating.
AsstsManager supports bulk importing so you can bring existing asset records into the application instead of starting from scratch.
This can be particularly useful when migrating an existing spreadsheet-based inventory.
📱 Built with React Native
From a development perspective, one of the interesting parts of building AsstsManager has been creating a mobile-first asset management experience.
The app is built using React Native/Expo, with Firebase used for backend services and authentication.
