PureHub 1.0.0-beta.3: a signed Android preview built around privacy

PureHub 1.0.0-beta.3 is now available for community testing. The goal of this release is simple: make the strongest mini apps feel more like focused standalone products while keeping the whole collection free, ad-free, privacy-first, and open source.

What changed

Three flagship tools received the largest upgrades:

  • QR Studio now offers a clearer scan/create workflow, local history, safer result actions, and easier sharing.
  • Zen Pomodoro adds practical presets, soundscapes, session history, and a calmer focus experience.
  • Zen Breath improves guided breathing, haptic cues, session controls, and streak tracking.

The wider Android shell also received runtime-safety work so the full collection of 22 mini apps behaves more consistently.

Android release safeguards

The published APK is generated by the signed release workflow and passed:

  • automated tests;
  • Android lint;
  • a privacy gate that confirms the APK does not request the Android INTERNET permission;
  • SHA-256 checksum generation for download verification.

Try the preview

This is still a beta preview. Feedback from real devices is especially useful: which tool feels easiest to understand, where does navigation slow you down, and what would make one of these mini apps worth keeping on your home screen?
