Sharing is only supported for boot loader classes because bootstrap classpath has been appended.

I've encountered this error when I set Gradle JDK 16, downgrading to Java Version 11 seems to fix the issue.

If downgrading is not an issue for you then this will fix it.

  1. Android Studio Arctic Fox | 2020.3.1 Canary 15
  2. Gradle 7.0
  3. Amazon Correto 16.0.1 (bug)
  4. Java Version 11.0.1 (fix)
