Hi đź‘‹
Back when I was in 12th grade, I used image compressors all the time while filling out entrance exam forms — simply because there was always a strict limit on upload size.
During my college days, tools like iLovePDF, Adobe PDF, and various PDF mergers became essential for creating assignments and project submissions.
As my tech journey progressed, my toolkit expanded. I started using JSON formatters, text comparison tools, and multi-search utilities regularly.
Even in daily life, tools mattered. For example, whenever I ordered earphones online, I needed a quick way to check whether:
- the microphone was working properly, and
- both left and right speakers were functioning correctly.
Then came the AI boom.
I started using AI to solve very practical problems. For instance, while working at Swiggy, I often needed to scan huge log files, match error patterns, and extract unique restaurant IDs where those errors occurred. Instead of manually writing scripts every time, I used AI to generate small pieces of code that did exactly what I needed.
At some point, I realized something important:
I was no longer just using tools — I was building tools for myself.
That’s when the idea clicked.
I’m a tech person. I know how to write and modify code (with the help of AI).
But what about non-technical users?
Can they also create tools without knowing how to code?
This thought led to the birth of Tool-Studio 👉 https://toolstudio.in/
What is Tool-Studio?
Tool-Studio is a platform where anyone can create tools using just a prompt.
While building it, I implemented:
- prompt limits and free prompts
- private and public tool designs
- tool rebuilding and versioning
- an AI agent to generate tools
- complete pipelines, deployment, and testing
It wasn’t as simple as it sounds. Honestly, it felt like building my own version of Cursor from scratch.
While working on the full “tool-creation via prompt” vision, I decided to make the platform live with a set of public tools that people could immediately use.
Current Tools on the Platform
My goal is to eventually add 100+ tools.
As of today, Tool-Studio already has 16+ tools, including:
- QR Code Generator https://toolstudio.in/tools/16/qr-code-generator
- PDF Password Protector https://toolstudio.in/tools/13/pdf-password-protector
- Multi-Search Text Highlighter https://toolstudio.in/tools/8/multi-search-text-highlighter
- Microphone & Speaker Test https://toolstudio.in/tools/4/microphone-speaker-test
…and many more.
Every tool on the platform is inspired by real problems I’ve personally faced — as a student, a software engineer, and in everyday life.
I Need Your Help
Now I want to go beyond my own perspective.
I’d love input from people in other fields:
- Other Software Geeks
- Doctors
- Chartered Accountants
- Business Analysts
- Content Creators
- Teachers
- Pharmacists
- and more
Do you rely on specific tools in your daily work?
Are there repetitive tasks you wish were simpler?
I’ve built most of Tool-Studio single-handedly — frontend, backend, AI agent, pipelines, deployment, testing, and multiple tools. Because of that, I know there’s a lot of room for improvement.
I’m actively looking for:
- more tools ideas
- feature suggestions
- UX/UI improvements
- new tool ideas
- feedback from real users

Love the story behind this — it feels very real and relatable.
I tried a couple of tools and they’re fast and work smoothly, which is great to see. One suggestion: along with common tools, try adding a few more unique or niche tools that people can’t easily find elsewhere. That can really help with organic traffic and build even more trust.
Excited to see how Tool-Studio grows from here 🚀
