I spent an entire evening building a dashboard.
It looked good.
Charts.
Cards.
Stats.
Recent activity.
The whole thing screamed “SaaS.”
Then I asked myself why users would open it.
I couldn't answer.
So I deleted it.
The funny part is that building it in Greta made the mistake cheap.
I didn't have to defend the dashboard because I hadn't spent months engineering it.
It was an experiment.
And the experiment failed.
That's actually a useful outcome.
Now the product opens directly into the main workflow.
No dashboard pretending to be important.
No graphs just because every SaaS product seems to have graphs.
Just the thing users came to do.
I've started treating prototypes like disposable thinking tools.
Build the idea.
See it.
Use it.
If it's wrong, throw it away.
That's much healthier than treating the first version like something sacred.
