I started to code as a hobby in my teenage years. I had no intentions back then to make this my source of income, I was just trying to automate as many stuff as possible. This ended up to be a very, very nice base when I started to work with IT support - it helped me to automate some stuff, specially automating software installs after a fresh Windows setup.
A few years later I started my graduation - IT Management. I've learned a lot about programming there and during it, I felt 'the spark': the moment I realized that coding was what I wanted to do for a living. From there, I tried to learn as much as possible and tried to get a job as a developer - it took me a few years after graduation but I managed to snag one job that ended up being my transition from support to development.
After that, I started my first (and current) job as a full-time developer - no more support for me.

Nice story, but why you think coding is best for you? (be more specific).

Hmmm... now you got me. I feel that coding is best for me because I feel at home. It all comes naturally - either the code just flows out of my mind into my computer naturally, like it was something I always did, or it comes out of a lot of hard work (in other words, a lot of googling).

It gives me that nice, warm sensation of 'job done' at the end of the day and, in the next morning, I'm still as excited to code as I was on my first day coding.

It remembers me of a saying that is something among the lines of 'if you do what you love, you'll never work in your life'. And guess what... I don't work anymore. I'm doing what I love to do.

I agree with you. You have passion about programming, and this is the best thing you can have. But I don't prefer to have a job as a developer, becuase I don't want to work for money.

I wanna do it just becuase I love to do it. And you have the right answer, I was looking for.

So now you don't work anymore, does that mean that you have quited your job?

Oh, I wish I could! But since I'm in the early stages of my career as a programmer, I kinda can't just quit (even though I wish I could - this would allow me to spend more time with my daughters).

I have plans on one day to stay at home programming for fun and not for bucks, but until I get there, I'll stay working - with the biggest difference being that I'm enjoying to work rather than having to.

This is what I meant when I said 'if you do what you love, you'll never work in your life' - I'm still employed, I have a boss and all that stuff that comes along when working for a company, but I really feel that I'm at my living room, enjoying a nice afternoon rather than being put on a lot of pressure to finish my work.

Okay I got you, I wish the best luck for you and your daughters.

I have a bunch of question I could ask you that would help me.But now I think, is enough, I don't want to bother you.

But I want to stay in contact with you maybe for a project or even for tech stuff.

If you want to stay in contact you can message me here in dev.to or intagram.
