Like everyone else, I have a handful of GitHub projects that never went anywhere. At any rate, let's took a look at my GitHub Graveyard:
Perhaps the biggest project I ever abandoned was PopLibrary. In general, I was trying to build a library application that would generate passive income every time someone purchased a book recommendation.
The project failed because I wasn't equipped with the skills to finish it. After trying to implement two apps--one in Java and the other in C#--I ultimately tried to learn Laravel. At that point, I threw in the towel.
For a class project, I built a video game in Blender called Orpheus with a focus on sound design. Overall, the game was complete, but it never went anywhere.
Another time, I was working on a tower defense-like game with a friend--this time in Unity. Unfortunately, we just never put any time into it, so it died.
I also worked on a couple other group projects that ultimately died when the classes ended.
I also used to own a NAS which I used to host Plex media. At one point, I wrote a script to automatically move files around for me, but it's of no use to me anymore.
Well, I suppose that's it! Why haven't you shared your GitHub Graveyard yet?
