Reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend about pair-programming when you mention about asking-for-help. The concept of pair programming was often under-utilised by me as well. In my few years of software development, I found that thinking of it as pair programming with a fellow Engineer (whether junior or senior) is better suited that thinking of it as frequently needing/asking-for help.
