I Built Yet Another Scrum Poker App. This One Has Geese.

Our team has this thing where we estimate tasks "in geese" instead of story points. It started after another AI model dropped and we got into one of those conversations about being replaced and ending up on a goose farm. It stuck.

One day, during yet another sprint planning in yet another estimation app, I thought — I needed a side project anyway, and building something real-time was on my list to try. The theme was already there. So I built GooseScruming.

It does the same thing as all the others: create a room, share a link, pick Fibonacci cards, reveal estimates. Nothing new here.

I drew pixel art geese for the cards, added role badges, and syncing participants in real-time was the kind of backend-ish challenge I don't usually deal with as a frontend dev. No accounts, no sign-ups — open the link, pick a name (or stay "Goose_437"), estimate.

The geese might get some friends soon.

goosescrumming.com — if you're into geese and Fibonacci numbers.
