Shopify custom headings - possible to add 2 fonts simultaneously into a heading?

Bit of a strange request...
Basically I have added the font mushin (free japanese font) into my Shopify theme (using sense) no problem, but I am wanting to add what is called "furigana" above the text It's essentially adding pronunciation for english speakers above the japanese character.
It's obviously a different font from mushin. I think it would somehow work by adding the two fonts simultaneously into the heading...but no idea how that would work.
Does anyone have any ideas?
