What changed on 20 July After a month of extensions, credits and capacity juggling, Anthropic has settled the question of how ordinary subscribers get its frontier model. Per Anthropic's help centre and the company's own announcement, from 20 July 2026: Fable 5 is included in all Max plans, premium seats on Team plans, and premium seats on seat-based Enterprise plans — at up to 50% of your weekly usage limits, at no extra cost. Pro and Team Standard seats keep access, but pay-as-you-go via usage credits, with a one-time $100 credit for eligible users. The free-access window ended at 11:59 pm Pacific on 19 July, closing the bonus period that had run since Fable 5's restoration on 1 July. There is no new top tier.
