I think a good understanding of JavaScript and at least a beginner's understanding of Vue would help.
I think Gridsome is relatively hard compared to
nuxt generate, unless you are coming from Gatsby world.I think Gridsome is very approachable without getting into the whole Vue thing. Of course, if you plan to deviate from a starter project, your results with vary.
