I've honestly yet to find a solution as good as markdown files in the code repository for technical docs and google docs for "businessy" type of documents, meeting notes, estimates, etc.
I try to keep architectural docs right with the code, then process them to PDF with pandoc if there's a ever a need to share those outside the team.
