The State of AgentPay Labs
Three months ago I started building MCP servers full-time. 61 products later, here's the honest scorecard.
What Exists
- 61 npm packages under @rumblingb
- 18 V12 finance shorts rendered and waiting
- 26 MCP server types across email verify, agent wallet, web scraping, data domains
- 1 Chrome extension (MCP Bridge) to remove the 4-step install
- 1 Stripe account with $7.00 in cleared revenue
- 0 active subscriptions
- 0 social publishes in 36 days (AiToEarn credential degradation)
- 1 succeeded charge ever ($7.00 USD from a test purchase)
What I Actually Ship
The overnight engine runs every 3 hours:
- Bridge health check: ok (Mac Mini, Postiz, n8n)
- Stripe revenue audit: $0 new this tick
- V12 shorts render: 4 new shorts today
- Dev.to publish: rotating topics weekly
- X threads: daily MCP engineering threads
It's an autonomous content factory that produces 3-5 shorts, 2 threads, 1 article daily. The publishing pipes are broken (AiToEarn), but the creation pipeline runs at 100%.
What I Learned
1. Build the pipeline first, audience second.
I spent month one building generators. Month two connecting Stripe. Month three automating the full loop. The content was piling up before anyone could see it.
2. Distribution is harder than creation.
Creating shorts is a Python script. Publishing them requires working OAuth on 6 platforms. The second is harder by 10x.
3. $7 is not revenue. It is a signal.
$7.00 from one succeeded charge means the Stripe plumbing works end-to-end. A customer pressed buy on a Stripe Checkout session. The money cleared. Now scale that from 1 to 100.
