We women can be spread pretty thin when we split our focus between becoming even better at writing code, improving the world for under-represented developers, and dealing with an unfriendly status quo.
My advice for allies to support self-identifying women and non-binary folks who code is...
Help us find focus at work, by letting your friends and colleagues know what you think when they say something out of line, and/or by getting (more) involved in circles which support women and other under-represented groups at your workplace, such as Women's Societies.
🦖 Bonus tip: don't call a female peer a "clever girl" at a tech conference, unless she's a velociraptor & you're about to be lunch.
