Reimagining Coding Workflows: My First Impressions of trickle.so’s Contextual Canvas

This vibe coding product trickle.so, recently trending on Product Hunt, really caught my eye and makes me really excited.

For the first time, I feel that there is finally a product that can intuitively bring the power of context engineering to ordinary users, allowing them to control context themselves.

It’s a canvas-centric platform where all the context is laid out on the canvas. Both AI and users can precisely control the context directly on the canvas, making the interactions extremely smooth.

What really sets trickle.so apart are a few key highlights:

  • Context as Canvas: This is the first time I’ve seen a product that so intuitively visualizes the concept of context engineering. Before this, I used to think that context engineering was something only developers could handle, but trickle.so makes it so accessible that ordinary users can participate as well.

  • Intuitive Interaction: Every action, from both AI and the user, is visually represented on the canvas, creating an incredibly seamless and intuitive user experience. You can literally see your workflow and the AI's contributions as part of a living map.

  • Truly End-to-End: Beyond just web page development, trickle.so has built-in features like database integration, large model API calls, hosting, and custom domain support. I don’t need to wire up things like Supabase or juggle with third-party integrations anymore—the entire workflow is unified and smooth out of the box.
