Truly inspiring journey. As a team behind Accio, an AI-powered procurement platform launched in late 2024, we deeply relate to the pressures you've described - especially when challenging established industry norms with new technology.
Your honest account of early-stage struggles resonates particularly well. In the procurement space, we've faced similar moments of doubt when introducing AI solutions to traditional business processes. That transition from uncertainty to earning client trust is incredibly powerful.
Your story serves as a strong reminder of what small, focused teams can achieve through persistence. The mental resilience you demonstrated during challenging periods is especially admirable.
Thank you so much for the kind words. And yes, the early days are always so tough! Also, I can totally relate to the struggles in the procurement space as I was briefly involved in export and import a few years ago.
It's genuinely refreshing to meet someone else who's been through the export/import trenches - those procurement challenges really build character in a way only industry insiders understand. Great to see you're making waves in new areas too. All the best!
WOW awesome journey! I’m also a dev getting into entrepreneurship too and it’s tough even with AI helping out. Gonna keep pushing though and hopefully get to where you are one day
And yeah… the whole “is the quote too high?” thing, so relatable 😄
I totally relate to the part "even with AI helping out"
it is still a lot of iteration, bug fixing, deployment stuff, and most importantly something AI cannot replace - excellent customer service and proactive client communication.
We deal with both technical and non-technical founders and both require a different approach in communication.
The "Is this quote too high??" debate never gets old 🥴
Right?!
That first paying gig is a huge milestone, often marking the transition from terror of failure to terror of success and burnout. Mine was 25 years ago, but the memory is still crystal clear.
Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your amazing journey, and keep going!
Thank you so much! And yes, making that first dollar online was huge.
Wow, what an incredible journey from learning GitHub basics to leading a thriving dev studio in just a few years! Your story really highlights how grit, smart work, and believing in yourself can overcome the toughest challenges. Especially loved how you shifted from competing on price to delivering real value that’s a game changer. Excited to follow your continued success and learn from your experiences!
Thank you so much! I will continue documenting my journey here.
This is such an inspiring journey, congratulations to you 🎊
Thank you!
Oh, the good old “maybe I should lower it by… half??” panic...
I knowww right.. Pricing is so scary, especially in the beginning when our portfolios were made up of really tiny projects.
sending you a big supportive hug your way... and to anyone going thought the same
Congrats!!
Super cool. I'm also super passionate about startups. Getting obsessed about problems & potential solutions is pleasantly consuming me.
Thank you and, yes, I totally understand the feeling of building something from scratch and watching it solve a problem.

Thank you!
Thanks for sharing , very inspiring to know someone else out there went through what i'm going through and eventually made it
Yes, the important thing is to not give up! The beginning is always tough and it seems impossible to gain momentum, but trust me it gets better.
Lean in to your network, and it also helps to talk to other entrepreneurs on the same journey. Attend events, make connections and one day all these little moments will accumulate to create a tipping point and give you the first big break.
Really inspiring journey! I like how you turned Dev.to posts into a startup idea. Excited to see what projects you build next!
TestPilot is awesome!
