What is stopping us from having a Perfect Desktop OS?

So many but neither ticks all the boxes

I agree there are so many Desktop Operating Systems out there, Flavours of Linux, versions of Windows, "It just works" nature of Mac OS.

But in reality each of these have limitations. Linux has minimal (although growing) support for Gaming and Content creation tools (Adobe wink). The Mac isn't open and in most cases not affordable for everyone. Talk about developing something on Windows and something breaks down the line.

Do you think we need an open place where everything works or is there something I'm missing?

I'm open to any discussion or critique on this.

An Animated Guide to Node.js Event Loop

Node.js doesn’t stop from running other operations because of Libuv, a C++ library responsible for the event loop and asynchronously handling tasks such as network requests, DNS resolution, file system operations, data encryption, etc.

What happens under the hood when Node.js works on tasks such as database queries? We will explore it by following this piece of code step by step.
