Before comparing platforms, pick one repetitive process and trace it from start to finish. What triggers it? Which systems hold the information it needs? What should happen when data is missing? Where does a person need to review the output?
Those answers give you something concrete to test.
Test More Than the Successful Run
A demo usually shows the ideal path. Your trial should also include incomplete inputs, failed connections, and AI output that needs correction. Check whether the tool makes those problems visible and gives your team a practical way to resolve them.
Then measure the outcome. Compare the time spent before and after automation, along with errors and the amount of review required. If the workflow improves, you have evidence for expanding it.
