Hello all.
My journey began 2 years ago when I started playing around with an arduino uno and the C language....steep learning curve that I couldn't really understand.
I stumbled across a book "Get Coding 2". Basic building of games using html, css and Javascript. Once I got my head around javascript, the C language made more sense.
I moved over to linux and mac (7 years of windows and the BSOD ended that one for me).
I then started using linux, bash and shell scripts. My main text editor is vscode but really getting into vim.
Now learning AWS and cloud computing services.
After 2 year I have learned so much but it still feels like a small drop in the ocean compared to what is out there.
My advice to anyone getting into software....Never stop learning. Be resilient in the face of thousands of failures in coding and Google the hell out of all your problems.
