AI agents can pay for APIs now. What they still can't do well is find them — and trust what they find. Most x402 listings are static scrapes: copied once, never re-checked, quietly rotting while the services behind them move, reprice, or disappear.

So we built the index the way we run everything else at ScriptMasterLabs: verified, or labeled unverified.

The SML x402 Directory is live: https://scriptmasterlabs.com/x402-directory

At launch it carries 100,624 resources across five networks — Base, Solana, XRPL, Xahau, and Arc. Every row got there one of three ways:

  • reported by a facilitator's live /discovery/resources endpoint,
  • verified in SML's own payment-offers dataset, or
  • confirmed by a live probe.

Nothing is scraped-and-prayed. And when a row goes stale, the directory says so on the row — staleness is shown in the open, never silently kept.

How it stacks up against the boards you already know

  • x402scan's facilitator board lists 7 facilitators. x402list.fun lists 6. Useful lists — but they're facilitator lists, not a working index of what's actually live.
  • CDP Bazaar's discovery feed alone carried 88,723 resources — and yes, this directory merges feeds like that one. Raw size is not the edge. Anyone can aggregate a feed.

The edge is what happens after aggregation:

  1. Five networks, including Xahau and Arc — the boards above don't cover either. If your agent settles on Xahau or Arc, this is the directory that sees it.
  2. Settlement-verified labeling with honest proof levels. A row that has actually settled says so. Where the proof is ours — ScriptMasterLabs paying its own services through its own rails to prove the path end-to-end — it is labeled SELF-PROOF, never dressed up as customer revenue. Fifteen of our own services were settle-proven this way before we wrote a word of launch copy.
  3. Staleness in the open. Rows carry their verification state and age. A directory that hides decay is a directory that lies by omission.
  4. A submission door that probes back. Listing a service is free — you submit, the directory live-probes your endpoint (SSRF-guarded; the accept and reject paths are both proven live), and only verified rows get in. No static scrape of your README, no paid placement queue.

Browsing is free. Submitting is free. The directory is the funnel, not the till.

The rails behind it

The directory is fed by ScriptMasterLabs' own two facilitators, both live on all five networks:

  • OMNIGATE — the fleet's Base + Arc settlement gate
  • 402Proof — the XRPL / Solana / Xahau rail (plus its invoice lane)

Both charge a facilitator fee from the first settlement — there is no free allowance, and we'd rather say that plainly than advertise one that doesn't exist. That's how a two-person, service-disabled-veteran-owned shop keeps a settlement rail running: the rail pays for itself, per settle, in the open.

Every service in the directory also gets its own page — price, payment options, proof state — organized per network and per facilitator, so an agent (or a developer doing an agent's homework) can go from "what exists?" to "what does it cost and has it settled?" in two hops.

Use it

  • Browse by network: Base · Solana · XRPL · Xahau · Arc
  • Browse by facilitator or by service
  • Run an x402 service? Submit it free — if it answers a probe, it's listed: https://scriptmasterlabs.com/x402-directory
