Open a mobile game and you’re hit with a 30-second ad. Clear a level and you’re bombarded with in-app purchase bundles. You just want to relax, but endless quests, daily check-ins and stamina limits drag you along.
Even browser-based mini-game platforms are crammed full of ads, pop-ups and complicated entry points.
Yet, simultaneously, AI is quietly transforming something profound.
We’re no longer confined to ‘playing games made by others’ — we can now start ‘creating our own unique games’.
This is precisely why I’m excited about AI gaming.

The true shift that AI brings isn’t merely ‘adding an AI feature’, but rather granting players their first opportunity to become the game’s ‘co-creators’.

What excites me most is the idea of “everyone creating their own game”.
