Before you send someone your website link, what do you actually check first?

Before you send someone your website link (a customer, your mom, a group like this one), what do you actually check first?

Me, I used to check exactly one thing: does the homepage load on my phone. That's it. That was the whole security plan.

Then I learned a site can look perfectly fine on the homepage and still have a broken contact form, a footer from three years ago, or files sitting out in public that should not be.

So now I'm curious what real people do. Do you click every page? Look for the padlock? Ask your nephew who "does computers"? Just hit send and pray?
