We announce the launch of sales based on the vStack virtualization platform in Brazil. The equipment has been placed in the state-of-the-art Equinix SP3 data center, complying with the international Uptime Institute Tier III standards. A new location for creating cloud servers – São Paulo, Brazil – is now available in the Serverspace control panel.
SP3 is one of the modern data centers owned by the Equinix – the largest data center and colocation service provider for cloud computing. The data center complies with global standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and PCI DSS. SP3 has received all three Tier III certificates from the Uptime Institute, and the Operational Sustainability certificate has the highest Gold level. The cluster houses high-performance vStack SL201-25RE servers with Intel Xeon Gold 6226R (Cascade Lake) processors.
The connection of the Brazilian data center is a strategic step towards entering a new market for Serverspace. The company's internal analytical data shows interest in services from both existing users in Brazil and users from other countries. As a result of surveys, the need to deploy services in Latin America was identified, Svetlana Sharapova, the Head of Serverspace.
