Hi friends! 👋
For me, this is a really interesting question. Today, anyone can start their own products. What the quality of that product will be is another story, but the fact remains.
At the same time, getting a job now is harder, but not impossible. Freelancing sounds like a great idea, but the competition there is absolutely gigantic. Another good option is selling your own ready-made solutions, it's like freelancing, but you're selling a product you've already created. It's a solid path, but finding clients is really hard.
Of course, the most popular way right now is starting your own product/startup. But the idea needs to be genius, otherwise, you're the only one who will use it.
These are just my thoughts on how to make money as a dev. But maybe the key is just to do what you love, and the money will follow?
How do you make money as a programmer? I'd love to read about your ways!
