In the past, I thought 3D modeling required either professional software or large-scale projects like drone oblique photogrammetry. I always felt like a beginner, not being able to get involved. But things are different now. The rapid development of AI has brought about simpler and more portable ways - AI Online Site Modeling. However, with AI modeling, all you need is to draw a box on a map and the model is generated instantly. This intuitive and simple operation method is especially suitable for educational and training scenarios, whether for students or external personnel in a company.
There's no need to teach a lot about photography or point cloud processing. You can directly introduce the basics of 3D modeling and its workflow. This low-entry approach, along with intuitive results, has made 3D modeling from a high-tech field into a tool that is accessible to everyone.

5. Can AI Modeling Truly Replace Traditional Methods? Don't Jump to Conclusions

Honestly, I had some doubts about AI modeling before. Could it really replace traditional 3D modeling techniques? From my personal experience with testing AI modeling, the answer is: No, it can't fully replace traditional methods, but it can serve as a useful supplementary tool.
AI modeling doesn't match the precision and detail of oblique photogrammetry or CAD/BIM modeling. It's more like an "auxiliary tool," suitable for quickly generating draft models or providing a foundational version when high-precision data isn't available.

6. Shapezo - Making Modeling More Portable and Flexible

When it comes to AI modeling tools, I remember "Shapezo" (Shapezo), a tool that generates models based on maps. How does it work? It's very simple: you open a map, choose an area, draw a box, and AI will generate a 3D model for you. There are no complex steps or need for specialized skills.
