Did you know you can track your brand keywords on Reddit and LinkedIn in Mentionkit, a social listening tool?
This is great for marketers in B2B who want to track brand and competitor mentions. Reddit especially will be cited in AI searches too.
Let's get started.
Setup Mentionkit
Start by signing up for a account in Mentionkit. Once done, add your project and a few keywords to track.
At the very least you want to add your brand, competitors and a few industry keywords.
Use the same keywords on both platforms
While adding keywords, select Reddit and LinkedIn for each keyword.
Check the inbox
In your project’s mention inbox, you should start seeing relevant mentions. Check brand, competitor, or industry keywords according to the question you want to answer.
For instance a Mentionki query for social listening across both platforms, covering October 19–25, 2026, returned these two posts:
| Platform | What the post contains | Source |
|---|---|---|
| A graduate discusses using Brand24 in a finance thesis. | Open post | |
| A SocialPilot roundup mentions Brand24 while comparing analytics tools. | Open post |
These are useful for tracking where a brand appears. Neither post is asking for a reply so don't hammer in a reply(On Reddit especially you'll get banned)
To decide whether to respond to a mention, open the source post, decide whether it needs a reply, then accept or decline it in the feed. Use that same process for both platforms.
Ideally you can hand this to a VA or a social media manager to do the replies.
Conclusion
I hope this article was helpful for you. Beyond Reddit and Linkedin I highly recommend tracking more platforms - you'll be surprised where you'll find your brand mentions.
