I Built Another Todo App. Yes, Another One.

After a long break, my cohort at @Code for India Foundation has finally resumed, and we’re now diving into backend development specifically, Express.js.

And honestly? My experience with backend so far has been great and overwhelming at the same time. 😂

Writing a REST API? Fine.

Writing multiple functions, methods, keywords, middleware, handling requests and responses, and somehow keeping track of what the hell is happening? Yeah… that’s where things get interesting.

I’m currently building a Todo app.

And no, I’m not under the impression that the world desperately needs another Todo list app. 😭

I’m building it because I’m here to learn. I want to actually understand how things work instead of just following tutorials and copying code.

Because building great applications requires a great foundation.

The timing is also… interesting.

I’m learning backend while dealing with my semester exams, which means I get to fight two completely different kinds of Battles at the same time.

But complaining about it isn’t going to make me better at backend, and it definitely isn’t going to get me better grades.

So I guess the only option is to work twice as hard, handle the pressure, and try to come out of this with both a good marksheet and a solid backend foundation.

And maybe, somewhere down the line, a recruiter sees this post and thinks:

“Damn, that’s a great candidate.”

…That’s the plan anyway. 😂

For now, I’ll keep learning, building, breaking things, fixing them, and figuring out what I’m doing along the way.

I’ll be back with more updates.
