The older I get, the more introverted I seem to become. Really wish humans would process logic like computers do. Trying out this platform to see if maybe it's just the type of humans I'm surrounded by, not many geeks where I'm from.
I'm a very big introvert. I took a chance with Twitter and it has helped me come out of my shell. Since joining, I've begun blogging, I was a guest on a podcast, and I've been a guest on a YouTube channel. 6 months ago I would have told you that wasn't possible, but so many doors have been opened since I decided to give it a shot. I hope you find it enjoyable! There are many great people on the platform. :)
I am also an introvert and it takes lots of energy to talk to people. I created my twitter account in this year but I am not able to engage with people in that platform as well because people are very smart everywhere.
I believe intelligence is a skill you have to develop and you can't start doing that until you're not scared of asking stupid questions. The people that make fun of others for not knowing things are just insecure so it doesn't matter what they think.
Any idea who developed this?
Sorry, I'm not sure I follow. I wrote the article based on my experiences so far.
I was just wondering if you knew who wrote this web site, I wanted to follow them too.

lol, I know I'm in the right place. I went through and followed the founders but when I clicked on Jess's profile, I thought it was a legitimate broken link. She has "404 bio not found" on her profile..
You spoke the truth my friend, I feel the same :) The older I get, the more introverted I become.
Thank you, Sarah! Great article. For 2-3 weeks I'm trying to figure out how to get started on Twitter, even toke some advices from my father.
I'll try to follow your advices, also thanks for the list of "Who to follow".
I hope this helps you with some guidance! There is so much to sort through it can be overwhelming at first!
Thank you for the mention Sarah!
I think many people that are first venturing into using Twitter as a platform would definitely benefit from reading this.
Thanks, Jack! Twitter is fun, but it can be overwhelming with some of the unspoken nuances! I hope this helps people. :)
Congrats on your first post and welcome to DEV!
Thank you! And than you for welcoming me! :) :)
Ahhh this is such a relatable post. I am also an introvert. I have tried to talk tech on a number of different social media platforms but nothing comes close to my experience with Twitter. I agree that it depends on who you follow. Any who, thanks for the great read, lots of good suggestions!
Great advice, thanks for sharing! I would've loved to see something about the frequency of using twitter, how often should I be scrolling through my feed to do all this things you mentioned! Do you have advice on this?
Amazing article Sarah! I just followed you and other accounts from your list of recommendations.
I'm about to start using Twitter again next month so your article was very helpful! Thanks for sharing :)
Great article! Twitter has been a great resource on my coding journey.
Thanks, Jai! It is such a great tool, and I've learned SO much during my time on here. I hope others can realize how beneficial it can be!
Great post, Sarah! I’ve recently been trying to get started with Twitter and to find interesting coding-related people to follow, so this is really helpful!
Thanks, Iona! Would love to connect with you on there!
This is great, thank you! I've stayed away from Twitter in general but know that it can be a wealth of information. I'll be bookmarking this for when I'm ready to join that world.
The description in first paragraph is definitely me. Plus I'm not a native english.
Thank you for sharing great tips, Sarah
