Have you ever noticed how AI-generated websites are starting to look a little too similar? You ask for a modern, clean UI and somehow you end up with the same rounded cards, gradients, layouts, buttons and that one particular shade of purple everywhere. 😭 AI has made building web applications insanely fast, but I feel we are slowly losing a bit of uniqueness and brand identity in the process. And with Tailwind CSS becoming almost a standard for modern web development, it’s even easier to fall into the same design patterns.
But Tailwind is just the foundation. There are actually a lot of really good UI and component libraries that can help you build things much faster without making every website look like it came from the same template.
I've been using a few of these libraries for months across different projects, and some of them have genuinely made my life much easier. So I thought I'd put together a list of the ones I actually use and like, and how you can use them to make your UI a little more interesting without spending hours building every component from scratch.

1. shadcn/ui
The obvious starting point if you want clean, accessible components that you can actually make your own.

Conclusion
AI can help us build faster, but good UI still needs a little human touch.
