SpendSmart

This is a submission for the GitHub Copilot Challenge : Fresh Starts

What I Built

SpendSmart provides consumers with a visually beautiful and user-friendly interface for tracking their money habits. Vue.js was used in the development of the application, which uses local storage to save user data. Users can input daily expenses, switch between monthly and annual views, and get AI-generated recommendations on how to optimize their spending patterns based on their financial information. This project demonstrates the integration of AI as a value-added element while making financial tracking easy, efficient, and entertaining.

Copilot Experience

Without Copilot, it would have taken me much longer to complete my project. Without it, I would have been stuck on the same problem for 3 hours straight and would not have been anywhere near finished. The autocomplete and editing tools are very satisfying to use as they are very fast and most of the time always get it right. I have tried other AIs to help me with promotion but Copilot was by far the most powerful.

GitHub Models

I did not use GitHub Models.

Conclusion

It was a lot of fun and gave me the opportunity to create a really cool website in less than 24 hours. I hope to be able to create more websites with this tool.
