Want to use VS Code on Github using your browser
- Login to your github account
- Go to any GitHub repo
- Press the . key on your keyboard
You'll get Visual Studio Code in the browser to edit the repo.
You can edit, search, install (some) extensions and use commit back to the repo

Wait WHAT! Is this github codespaces or smthing? If not why would github allow this? Isn't this just a free version of Github Codespaces?
It doesn't have a terminal or code running.
I was just as surprised!
