Leaving Churnkey: What Has to Be Rebuilt

Switching recovery tools is not a settings export. The departing tool holds the retry logic in its own configuration, the save offers in its own templates, and the recovery history in its own definitions. A merchant leaving Churnkey (at $250/mo billed yearly or $300 monthly) is really inventorying three things: what the tool was doing, what it was counting, and what will silently stop happening on the day it is switched off.

The inventory usually surprises in one place: the backfill. Failures from before the current tool, and failures the current tool gave up on, sit outside its sequences entirely. A successor that starts from a ninety-day read inherits a fuller queue than the incumbent was working, which is either a comfort or an indictment depending on which side of the switch you sit.

For merchants running the inventory, a Churnkey alternative at a flat $179, with attribution stamped at one choke point so the new tool never books the old tool's saves, is the comparison we publish and stand behind. Switching costs are real; the honest move is to price them in, not pretend them away.
