It's my first post

Introduction

Hello.
I live in the U.S. and am studying programming by myself.
Since November 6th, 2024, I’ve been posting daily tech blogs about JavaScript, Git, Linux, Ruby, and Rails.
Today, I’d like to talk about the purpose of starting this blog.

Why did I start blogging on Dev.to?

There are a few reasons why I decided to start this blog:

  • Output tech knowledge in English
    Sharing technical knowledge in English
As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been posting tech blogs every day, but they’ve all been in Japanese.
Since I want to work in the U.S., I realized I need to start sharing my knowledge in English as well.

  • Contributing to the Ruby and Rails community
There are many job opportunities for Rails engineers in Japan, which is why Japanese platforms like Qiita have a lot of Rails-related information.
However, compared to languages like Python or Go, Ruby and Rails are less popular globally.
This means there’s limited content available for beginner Ruby or Rails developers in the world.
I’m not a software engineer yet, but I hope my posts can help beginners who are just starting out.

Finally

Thank you for reading my first blog.
I plan to post tech blogs at least once a week.
